Keith Jones,18 & David McKay,16 from Queensland are competing across the country. Mightymite are proud to be sponsoring the boys as they follow their dreams.

Keith Jones and David McKay are a dynamic team looking to set to take the Australian sailing scene by storm. Jones and McKay sail at Manly's ( Qld.) Darling Point Sailing Squadron and they have found early success on the water. The pair were recently given a new 13 foot skiff and sponsorship by Mightymite to help them on their way. After earning several first and second place finishes in past Australian championships Jones and McKay are hoping for a good showing at the coming State and National titles.

Jones,18, who is a fourth generation sailor said the 13 foot boat was a stepping stone for juniors coming thru the system. The 13 foot skiff was designed roughly 11 years ago as an intermediate skiff to provide a stepping stone for a junior class into the 16 footers. I started sailing with my Dad when I was seven years old .I enjoy sailing so much because of the relaxed environment and the people. Also the thrills and spills the 13 foot skiffs provide in windy weather. But Jones says the pair had bigger things in mind for the long term future. Our goal is to win the 15 / 16 Australian titles at Hervey Bay in December / January.
